As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, helping manage access, greet visitors, verify credentials, and support a smooth check in process. You will monitor activity through cameras and logs, handle calls and visitor questions with outstanding customer service, and communicate security-related concerns to the team. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the front desk post by greeting and screening visitors, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and coordinating access with authorized contacts.
  • Answer phones, route calls and/or messages, and monitor incoming communications to support timely response to service requests and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, and report maintenance issues and/or unusual activity through approved channels.
