As a Front Desk professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access while maintaining a welcoming environment. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a professional manner and verify their credentials as required.
Monitor access to the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals at the front desk.
Maintain clear and accurate records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs, as well as any security-related incidents.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.
Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
