Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer at a utilities location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting employees and visitors with outstanding customer service. You will help manage access by checking identification, issuing badges, monitoring entry activity, and supporting security-related reporting and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Staff the front desk and manage access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, logging entries and/or exits, and directing visitors to the appropriate contacts.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communications systems from the front desk, report irregular conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed, and assist with coordination until resolved.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and access documentation, and communicate status updates and handoffs to incoming personnel per post orders.
