About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, processing visitor check-ins, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with property management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Maintain detailed front desk logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to access activity and security-related events.
  • Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and support a professional lobby presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports daily operations.
