Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a retail location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity at the entrance, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and following site-specific access procedures for the location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, answer phones, assist with visitor check-in processes, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of entry points, monitoring assigned systems and/or cameras at the desk, and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Support emergency response activities by providing directions, sharing timely information, and following post orders for the retail location.
