As a Front Desk professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access while maintaining a welcoming environment. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a professional manner and verify their credentials as required.
  • Monitor access to the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals at the front desk.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs, as well as any security-related incidents.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.
  • Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
