As a Security Officer Spanish Speaking Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. At a financial institution location, our unarmed Patrol Officers conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report unusual activity, unauthorized persons, or policy concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, patrol observations, and access-related events in clear, accurate reports.
