As a Security Officer Bilingual Spanish Unarmed Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government museum location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to museum visitors, staff, volunteers, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with directions and museum-related inquiries, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
