As a Security Officer Spanish Language Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for customers, visitors, and team members while documenting observations and responding to security-related needs. Requirements

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of grocery retail areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
