About The Position

As a Security Officer Fluent Spanish Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government cultural location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, staff, and guests with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to museum visitors, staff, contractors, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public galleries, entrances, parking areas, administrative spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with directions and event-related inquiries, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and site contacts.
