As a Security Officer SOC in Coffeyville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor access points and conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, caring, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations within an industrial chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Monitor for unauthorized access, equipment concerns, and/or potential hazards, helping to support a controlled and orderly location.
  • Complete routine reports, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
