About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer in Beltsville, Maryland. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through a visible security presence, routine patrols, and attentive response to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity. The officer is expected to provide professional customer service, follow company and client requirements, complete documentation accurately and on time, and comply with training and safety procedures. Applicants must have a valid Maryland security guard license and open availability. The stated pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must have a valid Maryland security guard license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and means of communication.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
Must have open availability.
