About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and neighborhood location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, tenants, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Observe access points and activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and property-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
