Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to accommodate last minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel the required distance for Branch Flex assignments.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or customer assistance needs while maintaining visible presence throughout the location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and support access control, crowd management, and after-hours checks in accordance with site expectations.
