About The Position

As a Security Officer Service Focused Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with property policies, verifying credentials and/or visitor information as required.
• Support daily property operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, and/or emergency responders during routine and unusual events.
