About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Senior Residential in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This part-time role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may be available across multiple sites, allowing hours to vary up to 40 per week. The position pays $18.00 per hour. Scheduled anchor shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
