About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Residential Security Officer in Kissimmee, Florida. The officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through attentive, professional service and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Available schedules include second shift, third shift, and weekend shift. The pay rate is $16.00.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Have basic to intermediate computer skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all preemployment requirements, including criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
