Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation and ship repair location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, repair areas, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.
