Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned.
Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directing individuals and reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
