As a Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report unusual conditions, facility hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
