Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support access awareness and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support badge verification, sign-in practices, and other access control measures.
  • Observe and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and provide requested assistance during alarms, evacuations, and other site-related events.
