As a Security Officer Secure Entry Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access control policies, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to office, studio, and/or technology work areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related events according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, which may include lobbies, parking areas, loading zones, and restricted spaces, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Support employees, guests, and contractors with directions, badging questions, and reporting procedures while helping to maintain orderly access flow at a dynamic tech, media, and/or telecom location.
