As a Security Officer Secure Entry Specialist in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a public-facing location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit points, and supporting security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Help manage access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access records, and communicating entry requirements in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Monitor doors, gates, badges, and other access control systems to help identify unauthorized entry attempts and unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter when required, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
