As a Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help identify security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access requirements in support of authorized building access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
