About The Position

As a Security Officer Secure Access Systems in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and communicating entry requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
