About The Position

As a Security Officer Digital Access Systems in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and supporting security-related procedures. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, lobby spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly access to restricted areas, directing visitors appropriately, and reporting unusual activity or policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
