About The Position

As a Security Officer - Secure Access Control in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related procedures at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and incident documentation, answer incoming calls, and direct guests according to site protocols and front desk expectations.
  • Observe activity at entry points and in the reception area, report unusual behavior or policy violations, and support emergency response activities when needed.
