About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Apex, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, and support security-related procedures through clear communication and strong customer service. In this stationary role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach while working as part of a team that values agility, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk location.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying entry authorization, and communicating with site contacts regarding visitor-related and/or access-related matters.
