As a Security Officer Screening Support in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and/or personnel, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and site guidelines.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activity to help support authorized access and site operations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
