About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Navarre, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Screener in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will support security-related operations through attention to detail, teamwork, and integrity while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the location by verifying identification, access authorization, and required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor logs, and delivery activity; report access concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter, and document observations and incidents.
