About The Position

Requirements

• Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, personal belongings, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter, as directed by site policies and location needs.
