Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entries, exits, and screening-related findings in required logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, while observing for conditions that could impact operations or require security-related follow-up.
