About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role combines strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail while helping to identify concerns, support daily operations, and reflect our values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activity, unusual conditions, and/or incidents in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
