Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, monitor activity, and help support a secure environment through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. In this unarmed role, you will assist with routine patrols and site access awareness while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to support site rules, visitor processing, and credential checks in accordance with post instructions.
• Observe trailer yards, dock areas, and package handling surroundings for operational disruptions, damaged property, and/or unauthorized access, then report findings through appropriate channels.
