As a Security Officer Screening Associate in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate site documentation and/or communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related operations within a logistics and distribution location.
