As a Security Officer Full Time Screener in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening individuals and/or items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or facility personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site requirements, including verifying identification and access authorization.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, prohibited items, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
