As a Security Officer Personnel Screener in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and/or visitors, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen individuals, packages, and belongings entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor access points and verify appropriate credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; report observations through required channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
