As a Security Officer Facility Rounds in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while observing for policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and report findings through established channels.
• Support daily operations by following post orders, assisting with directional information, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
