As a Security Officer Screener in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this visible role, you will communicate clearly, assist with routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering customer service rooted in teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while monitoring access points and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain professional communication with drivers, visitors, and site personnel while supporting orderly entry, exit, and screening processes throughout the location.
