As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post instructions and reporting protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, access points, dock areas, and the perimeter, as directed by site procedures.
  • Document screening activity, access concerns, and/or unusual incidents, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly site operations.
