As a Security Officer Screener in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help support smooth operations through screening activity, monitoring assigned areas, and conducting routine patrols. In this people-first role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service, clear communication, and dependable teamwork with integrity in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or shipping-related documentation as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as directed by site needs, while observing for unusual activity or policy violations.
