As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a professional property location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, and integrity every day.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and report observations.
  • Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document incidents, conditions, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
  • Communicate with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel regarding site conditions, routine requests, and/or emergency situations.
