As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. At a respected financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing routine logs, incident reports, and other assigned duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
