As a Security Officer Roving Inspection Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and other personnel at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, office areas, access points, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
