As a Security Officer Property Inspection Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to assist visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with mall personnel. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail mall, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
