As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with site policies.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
