About The Position

As a Security Officer Route Patrol in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and maintaining accurate logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by remaining aware of restricted areas, following post orders, and reporting spills, leaks, and/or other abnormal conditions promptly.
