About The Position

As a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Amarillo, Texas, you will safeguard clients at a retail location by conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is part-time, with scheduled shifts Thursday through Saturday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $15.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, resolving problems and escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations to appropriate site contacts.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
