About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Bellevue, Nebraska. The position serves a government utility location and involves unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The role is scheduled for daytime hours on Monday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and pays $19.74 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government utility location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities.
