You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear, professional communication. You will assist tenants and visitors with customer-focused service while following site procedures and documenting activity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, lobbies, corridors, loading docks, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor access points and property activity, verifying credentials and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with post orders and site rules.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and local first responders when needed.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate notable conditions to the next shift, and follow Allied Universal reporting and escalation guidelines.
